Our detective and their trusted sidekick will use their interrogation skills to suss out the culprit and solve the case. The twist? The audience gets to decide who the killer is amongst an array of suspects who are anything but usual.

With suggestions from our audience, we’ll weave a hilarious tale of mischief, misanthropy, and machinations. A murderous fate awaits one of our performers, and it’ll be up to you to decide who did the deed. Our detective and their trusted sidekick will then unravel exactly how the crime went down. The boat is moored, but our comedy will be anything but.

Murder, You Wrote debuted at the Sacramento Comedy Spot in August of 2022. It was developed by local talent, and has been performed every month ever since by a cast of wonderfully funny homegrown improvisers and dozens of guest players from every corner of the region. The only folks having more fun than the audience are the performers on stage.
