Welcome Aboard the Golden Hour Express Cocktail Train – Summer Nights in Old Sacramento!
This summer, experience the magic of a golden California evening aboard the Golden Hour Express Train. On select dates, depart from historic Old Sacramento for a scenic, hour-long round-trip journey along the Sacramento River.
Relax in the comfort of our first-class, air-conditioned cars or take in the sunset from an open-air gondola — the choice is yours. With sweeping riverside views, refreshing beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and a vibrant social atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to toast the evening.
Each ticket includes two drink tokens to enjoy during the ride.

Ticket Details
Running on select Wednesdays from 5/27 through 8/19! Tickets are $45 per passenger and include 2 drink tokens to be redeemed during the train ride. Tickets are $40 per museum member and include 2 drink tokens to be redeemed during the train ride. Museum member ticket presale begins May 4th with public ticket sales following on May 7th! Departure dates are: 5/27, 6/10, 6/24, 7/8, 7/22, 8/5, and 8/19.
Accessibility Information
Due to the historic nature of the coaches, all passengers must be able to climb a narrow set of stairs to board the coaches. Due to limited aisle widths, wheelchairs, mobility devices, and strollers are not permitted on the coaches. Temporary storage for devices is provided at the passenger station.
