The Burnett Awards is a high-profile annual event that benefits two of Sacramento’s historic treasures – the Sacramento History Museum and the Center for Sacramento History. Each year, the Sacramento History Alliance honors successful local businesses that have met and withstood the test of time and are recognized contributors to the community culture in the Sacramento region. The guest Master of Ceremonies this year will be the honorable Mayor Darrell Steinberg.

The Burnett Awards is named in honor of the late Burnett Miller – a native Sacramentan, former mayor, community icon, philanthropist, business leader and one of the city’s most prominent history enthusiasts.
