Meet May Woolsey
Sacramento History Museum

May Hollister Woolsey was an ordinary Sacramento girl who left us an extraordinary time capsule – full of thoughts, visions, worries, and hopes – found 100 years after her death in 1879.

Join the Sacramento History Museum to explore a new interactive exhibit about this remarkable legacy and get a hands-on look at the experience of childhood in Sacramento in the 1800s.

From 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, there will be crafts, story time, and fun for the whole family. Plus, children 17 and under can visit and explore for free.

Included with General Museum Admission. Adults $10. Children 17 and under FREE.
