CELEBRATE THE HALLOWEEN SEASON ABOARD THE SPOOKOMOTIVE TRAIN RIDE

This delightful, not frightful train is just the ticket for the whole family. The diesel-powered train is decorated for the season with cornstalks, scarecrows, skeletons, bats and spiders. Each operating weekend the Spookomotive will have a special theme, and includes exciting on board entertainment and a tasty Halloween treat!

When: October 9 & 10; 16 & 17; 23 & 24; 30 & 31.
Departures at 10am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4pm.

Where: Purchase tickets online in advance starting August 31 at noon or at the Ticket Office day of (if available), located at the Central Pacific Passenger Station on Front Street in Old Sacramento.

Themes

October 9 & 10: Superheroes & Villains
BOOM! POW! The train has been compromised by a sinister super-villain. Gather your superpowers and cheer on the superhero to help them defeat the super-villain and save the day.

October 16 & 17: Pirates & Princesses
AHOY, MATEY! The train has been captured by a dreadful pirate! Wear your best eye-patch and practice your “Argh!” to help the good pirate save the train and send the dreadful pirate to walk the plank!

October 23 & 24: Witches & Wizards
HOCUS-POCUS! A wicked witch has put an evil curse on the train! Grab your wand and cast a magic spell to help the good witch break the evil curse and save the train!

October 30 & 31: Superheroes & Villains
BOOM! POW! The train has been compromised by a sinister super-villain. Gather your superpowers and cheer on the superhero to help them defeat the super-villain and save the day.

As a membership benefit, members receive discounted pricing for the number of people covered by their membership category.

UPGRADE TO OUR FIRST CLASS MAGICAL MAD SCIENTIST LABORATORY!

Enjoy the themed entertainment along with the excitement of the Magical Mad Scientist and his crew of minions. The laboratory is decorated with a display of crazy experiments fit for the mad Doctor himself, and his tricks and illusions will leave guests of all ages in awe. First Class guests will receive refreshments upon return to the passenger station, including a special Halloween cookie. With nonstop fun and excellent service, First Class is perfect for those looking for an insanely wacky time.
