Family Crafts Day – Paper Quilling
Sacramento History Museum

Event Sacramento History Museum

Ring in Spring with Paper Bling!

Join the Sacramento History Museum on Saturday, April 16th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm for a free, family craft workshop and learn the art of paper quilling. Fun and accessible for all ages, paper quilling, also known as paper filigree or paper mosaic, is an ancient art form where thin strips of paper are coiled, shaped, and glued to create beautiful designs. Museum staff will show you how to create your own paper quilled decorative eggs and flowers for Easter weekend at the Hastings Annex, 1002 Second Street. All materials will be provided, and you can head home with your very own paper quilled masterpiece!
