The Old Sacramento Waterfront is conveniently located just across the Tower Bridge from Sutter Health Park, home to the Sacramento River Cats and the Athletics. 

Enjoy delicious eats, family-friendly fun, and scenic views, all just steps from Sutter Health Park.

Plus, grab your River Cats and Athletics Baseball tickets ahead of time so you can focus on fun, not lines.

Getting Here

Whether biking, taking the train, or driving, the Waterfront has several options to make getting to and from the game easy.

General Parking Information:

Surface lot parking is available at Front & L Street, accessible from Firehouse Alley, and two public parking garages are available:

  • Old Sacramento Garage, on I Street between 3rd and 2nd.
  • Tower Bridge Garage, on Capitol Blvd at Neasham Circle near the Tower Bridge.

There is plenty of two-hour metered street parking available throughout the Waterfront, 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Public Transportation

The Old Sacramento Waterfront is a short walk from the Sacramento Valley Station, serviced by Amtrak, Capitol Corridor, and Regional Transit Light Rail Gold Line.

Follow the signage westward through the parking lot to reach Old Sacramento Waterfront at 2nd St. near the California State Railroad Museum.

Where should I park?
We recommend pre-purchasing your parking in the Old Sacramento Waterfront garages for the best access. Reserve here.

How do I get to the ballpark from the Waterfront?
It’s an easy walk across the Tower Bridge! Look for our game day signs or view our walking map.

Is the Family Fun Day free?
Yes! All activities are free and open to the public.

Where do I get the Grand Slam Card?
Pick one up at the event booth in the Waterfront. Fill it up, then turn it in at the park for swag (*While Supplies Last).

Can I bring kids?
Absolutely—this is a family-friendly event with games, bounce houses, and more for all ages.

Every Third Thursday in Old Sacramento Waterfront, small business owners will open their doors to give you a peek behind the curtain, hosting 15-20 minute-long live demonstrations and artist activations at the top of every hour from 4–8 p.m.
